A native app, an improved interface, a lot more information.
Crossing Dropping has been running for 3 years. In that time, it has become the trusted source of information about the level crossings in our area. Following the signalling changes in Autumn 2025, the app was created to radically enhance the user interface, and make the most of the new data provided by Network Rail. The result; a digital twin of the local railway with historical data presented in statistic format.
The website remains as a free and ad-free resource. The app has a small fee to help cover the development and extra infrastructure needed to run the new system. This is not intended to be a profit making commercial app.
